Discounts may be offered for wholesale, and trade orders. Details available upon request.
All prices are assumed correct at the time of publication and all items are assumed to be available at the time of publication. However, we reserve the right to change information without notice. We will not process your order if the items are not available or if prices have risen. We will let you know the current position as soon as possible by contacting you using either the e-mail address or the telephone number that you provide to us when placing your order.
CARRIAGE & PACKING
Delivery charges of bare root roses (November to February/March)
Bare root roses will generally be delivered via royal mail unless express delivery is required.
Delivery charges are based on weight of products, for example:
1-4 Bare root HT roses (250g each) £4.95
5-8 roses £6.95
9-20 roses £8.95
Delivery charges of potted roses (All Year) Are higher due to the additional weight of pot and planting medium.
Delivery charge for:
1 potted rose = £9.75
2-5 Potted Roses +£2.75 per rose in addition to the first.

Purchase of potted roses is the high-cost option because of prohibitive packaging and carriage charges due to weight. A potted rose costs £2.00 more than bare root.
Our carriage rates apply to the U.K. mainland only.
The above rates apply to parcels despatched to a single address.
Orders for different addresses (Postal / Order form orders only):
Should the order be split-up to be delivered to various addresses – extra carriage and packing must be included for each individual address.
We aim to despatch roses within 5 working days of order.
For mainland UK, we expect arrival of your orders within 3 working days of despatch. For carriage charges and times to the Isle of Man, Southern Ireland and the Channel Islands or other locations please ring the office for details.
If you request our courier leave the parcel outside, with a neighbour, etc., we do not accept any responsibility for subsequent damage or theft of the goods once left by the courier. Such goods are left at your own risk.
Please note that our plants are dispatched in the same growing stage as would be appropriate for that time of year. This means that roses, for example, dispatched in autumn, winter and early spring are unlikely to have flowers (and in some cases foliage).
We are not generally open to the public, but, orders may be collected by appointment only or at a flower show where we are exhibiting. Large orders may be delivered by ourselves; Please call the office to discuss.
No substitutes will be made if this is indicated. When substitutes are requested, Keith Jones will personally select varieties of equal merit and colour. No additional charge is made when substitutes are of greater value. It helps us greatly if you can list some preferred substitutes in the message bar especially if ordering later in the season.
Cheques are not accepted on email or web site orders. Cheques sent with catalogue order forms should be made payable to C and K Jones or fill in your credit card details on the order form. Please enclose payment with your order and forward to:C & K JONES, GOLDEN FIELDS NURSERY, BARROW LANE, TARVIN, CHESTER CH3 8JF. Having ensured that your cheque is signed and dated.
All orders must be accompanied by payment in full.
We pride ourselves on our efficiency and personal service, but of course all the best made plans sometimes go wrong. Please tell us promptly if anything seems amiss – we want to put it right. We know our plants are in good condition when leaving the Nursery, but if the fault is clearly ours we will replace any of our plants failing to grow or establish (except standards)
For bare root roses, we will replace any rose purchased in the autumn which has not grown (shown leaf or bud) by the 1st July in the year that immediately follows, provided we are satisfied that the rose was cared for and planted in an appropriate manner. Also, any of our plants untrue to name (a refund will be made if replacement is not possible), providing that you return the problem plants to ourselves.
In the event of a request to provide a replacement plant or a refund, we will either need photographs of the plants concerned or for the items to be returned to us at your cost.
No replacements or refunds can be given if loss is due to abnormal or extreme weather conditions, poor planting, lack of maintenance, neglect, planting in old rose beds and any other conditions beyond our control.
* PLANT BREEDERS RIGHTS
Please note that Roses marked with an asterisk are subject to Plant Breeder’s Rights. They may not be propagated for sale or sold except by the authority of the breeder or the holder of the rights. They are all newer varieties where a royalty is payable to the breeder, which is included in the price of the plant.
ILLUSTRATIONS and DESCRIPTIONS
The colour illustrations in the web site are a guide only, due to the limitations of screen capabilities and differing computer or mobile device settings.
Descriptions given of growing habit, height etc are a guide only and C & K Jones cannot be held responsible for any rose not meeting these descriptions if it is not grown in a suitable situation, position and conditions for that variety or if it is not maintained in a manner appropriate for the variety.
We export roses all over the world, conditions of supply vary from country to country and a phyto-sanitary certificate being needed for some. Please contact the office for the correct procedure and approximate costs (carriage etc).
Payment for such orders can be made either by card, a cheque in sterling drawn on a British Bank or by crediting our account directly in sterling.
BARE ROOT ROSES
All bare root rose stocks are removed from the web site catalogue from April onwards as this is the end of the bare root rose season. If you wish to order bare root roses ahead of the next season, please call the office on 01829 740663. Bare Root Stock will be updated on the web site ready for the next season (around November).
C and K Jones do not disclose customers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.
