Glossy foliage covering a strong upright plant that produces bright yellow flowers maturing to a cream primrose. Sweet Remembrance was released at the Hampton Court Flower Show 2003 in conjunction with the Henry Street Nursery from Arborfield near Reading. It is named by a local customer (Mrs Linda Adams) to keep her daughter Natalie’s memory alive after she lost her long battle against leukaemia. The name comes from the poem that was read out at her funeral. The blooms reflect Natalie’s sunny disposition and fair skin and hair and, just like her, the rose is bright, beautiful, young and sturdy. A donation from sales of the rose will be made to the Anthony Nolan bone marrow trust.
